Just a quick update, so I can participate in the August Monthly Special at Take Out Photo: Triptych.
The wedding was wonderful, everything is fine and we are exhausted from organizing and having party. More about this in some days or weeks. Oh, and we are waiting for the photos. As expected we did not have the time to take some on our own.

Beautiful. Love the subject and the dimensions. The perspective on that middle photo really grabs my attention.
Diesmal habe ich es nicht geschafft teilzunehmen. Dafür aber habe ich Deine Schönheit umso mehr bewundert. Grandios komponiert, Marcel. Ein tolles Tryptychon! Und nächsten Monat bin ich dann auch wieder mit von der Partie.

I’ve been experimenting with exposing images for the sky recently but had been trying to retain detail in the other scene objects. The answer of course (as in your second image) is just to go for silhouettes. Obvious really…
Thank you all for your comments. I also love the second picture most, it is one of these photos where you don’t have time to think. You just react, fast. And still you sometimes manage to catch the moment even better than you might have hoped while developing the roll …
